Canon Antichar Divisionaire de 76,2 mm ZIS-3 M.1942 Soviétique
The 76,2 mm ZIS-3 divisional gun was developed by the design team of A.E. Khvorosteen, E.A. Sankeen, et A.F. Gordeev. The weapon was easy to use, relatively light et maneuverable. The ZIS-3 had a high rate of fire, et it was powerful enough to penetrate chars enemy et canons d’assaut of the period. It was a dual purpose gun, which also fired high explosive shells et case shot against infantry et soft targets. Les soldats allemands soon knew the ZIS-3 by the nickname "Ratsch-Bumm", due to its distinctive firing et impact sound. Captured weapons et ammunition eventually found their way dans unités allemandes et Axis Allied, making the ZIS-3 an interesting model pour collectionistes, dioramistes, et joueurs de guerre alike.
