Tanks between the wars

Camouflage during this period consisted primarily of a single colour being applied to the entire véhicule. However, the véhicules themselves are interesting enough to stimulate the modéliste.

Blitzkrieg

The invasion of Poland, in Septembre 1939, launched a new era of armoured warfare. The race between char et antichar resulted in may new developments before the war was over.

The modern tank

Suprisingly, le char is making a big comeback on the verge of the 21st Century. The book provides a good introduction into armoured warfare, but this will have to be followed by a study d’armes antichar. To understand the relationship between char et antichar is important in order to fully appreciate armoured combat et the development of AFVs.
