Shop window, hung sash window, et small sash window pour des maisons georgiennes (1720-1840) ou victoriennes (1837-1901). The hung sash window has a fixed top sash et sliding bottom sash which may be pushed up to allow air in. The window sashes were constructed inside the partially completed window frame, using 1 x 1 mm pinewood strips. After painting, the windows may be glazed avec clear plastic sheet.

Once the windows are in place, the window frames may be finished avec pinewood strips attached to the inside et outside of the frame. Cracks between the window et the window opening in wall will be hidden behind the window frame.
