Grenadiers Prussiens, 1756–1763
These 40 mm figurines have been cast from Prince August moulds. The grenadier drummer received a new head avec la mitre de grenadiers prussienne replacing his tricorne hat. The figurines are painted avec artist oils, et they are based on an upscaled 100 x 50 mm regimental stand compatible avec the Volley & Bayonet game system. L’unité représente une brigade de grenadiers de deux ou trois bataillons which deployed on the same frontage qu’un régiment d’infanterie.
L’infanterie prussienne de la Guerre de Sept Ans was deployed in regiments of two bataillons each. Few regiments had three bataillons, the garrison regiments up to four bataillons during wartime. Each bataillon consisted of five companies: four Musketier- ou Füsilier-Kompanien et one Grenadier-Kompanie.
The two grenadier companies of a regiment joined the grenadiers of another regiment to form a combined bataillon de grenadiers de quatre compagnies for the duration of the conflict, which was named after its bataillon commander, typically a Major. One exception était le Bataillon de Grenadiers 3/6, which consisted de trois compagnies du Régiment à Pied von Anhalt-Bernburg und the Flügelgrenadier-Kompanie (compagnie de flanqueurs grenadiers) of the Grenadier-Garde Bataillon. The grenadiers of garrison regiments were permanently detached from their parent units, they formed six standing grenadier bataillons - stehende Bataillons de Grenadiers (SGB) - which served avec distinction durant la Guerre de Sept Ans.
Grenadier bataillons were shock troops, compact et well-led units designated to lead attacks, secure flanks et hold key battlefield positions. Grenadiers prussiens carried no flags, allowing them to concentrate fully on the task at hand not worry about losing precious field signs.
The following table list les bataillons de grenadiers prussiens de la Guerre de Sept Ans from 1756 to 1763, the regiments they were drawn from, et the names of the officers who led them.

Hinweise
- Les régiments d’infanterie de garnison prussiens are numbered using Roman numerals from "G I" to "G XIII" to avoid confusion avec the field regiments. The grenadier companies of garrison regiments were permanently detached from their parents units, et assigned to standing grenadier bataillons which drilled together even during peace-time. As a result, the level of training of the standing grenadier bataillons tended to be above that of the combined grenadier bataillons drawn from the field regiments only for the duration of the war.
- The "NG" designation stands for Neues Garnison-Regiment (régiment de garnison nouveau), the grenadiers of which were officially designated "GNG".
- La Milice Poméranienne (PM) raised two grenadier companies which formed the Provincial-Frei-Grenadier-Corps (PFGC) from 1758 until the end of the war. In Juin 1762, the provincial grenadier corps joined les quatres compagnies de grenadiers du Corps Franc Schony (F III) to form le Bataillon de Grenadiers Francs von Hüllesem.
- Les trois compagnies de grenadiers du Bataillon de Recrues (RB) von Tettau, von Stosch, et Bevern (Nr. 7 III) formed le Bataillon de Grenadiers Provinciaux Ingersleben in the Fall of 1759.
- Bataillon de grenadiers de garnison of the formerly Saxon regiments Nr. 54 et 56.
